This is a self-paced, experiential program that uses a monthly curriculum to guide you on a year-long journey of self discovery.

Along with the curriculum, the program offers community support plus online guidance from the Mayan Wisdom Project.

Every 3 months there will be a group Zoom Call for integration, and the Journey will start and end with a Kotzij’.

You will have access to the online Journey curriculum for 2 years in total. All experiential assignments will be yours to keep for as long as you like, and you will take the teachings with you for the rest of your life.

Each month has a variety of courses and exercises. Video time commitment is approximately 4 to 6 hours per month, or in other words up to an hour and a half per week.

Every third month there will be no courses, only practices (like meditations or journal contemplations) and a Zoom call, so the time commitment for the 3rd, 6th, 9th, and 12th months is typically less than other months.

There are short, simple quizzes at the end of the months that have courses. These will help you see whether you have mastered the key concepts and vocabulary that will help you as you deepen on this path. These quizzes are also required for you to receive your certificate of completion at the end of the year.

There is flexibility with the Journey. We encourage you to commit to following the path and follow along with your cohort, month-to-month, and we also understand that everyone has busy schedules and lives.

Each month we will give you suggestions for how to go through the material, but ultimately you decide what your schedule will be.

You will see Mayan Wisdom Project Spiritual Leaders when they lead the live, virtual Kotzij’, and you will experience their teaching via beautiful video courses specifically made for the Journey.

No. The Mayan Wisdom Journey is completely online via our Community and through Zoom. Online spaces include: a private Journey space in the Premium Section of the Mayan Wisdom Community and Zoom calls.

It is an opportunity to dive deep into exploration of the wisdom of the Maya from the comfort of your home or wherever you are when you log in.

There will be two types of live sessions in the Journey: there are group Zoom meetings with space holders from the Mayan Wisdom Project, and there will be Kotzij' led by Maya spiritual leaders.

We have done our best to make access to the Journey as easy as possible. All of our spaces and live Zoom calls will be available by just the click of a button!

We understand that new online spaces can be hard to navigate at first but our team will be here to support you all throughout the Journey including the times when tech support is needed.
